Quick Update & Approval: Top Manga & Saiunkoku vol 1
Time for more promised updates ^_^
First of all, Inuyasha is finally ending in Japan.

FINALLY. Not that I don’t somewhat like the series… but c’mon, how many times can the cycle repeat itself… HOW MANY TIMES? I don’t even want to count *lol*. But anyway, according to animenewsnetwork.com, “Takahashi has been working on Inuyasha over the course of 11 years and seven months, more than 54 volumes, and 558 magazine installments. Inuyasha will be Takahashi’s longest regularly serialized work — topping Urusei Yatsura (over eight years), Maison Ikkoku (seven years), and Ranma 1/2 (over eight years).”
Anyways, so we must finally say goodbye to our half-demon dog-eared hero, his bishie bro Sesshoumaru, the two loves of Inu’s life he never seems to be able to choose between – namely Kagome and Kikyo, the lecherous monk who wasn’t such a bad guy (Miroku), and of course Sango and Kirara. Oh yeah, and the bad guy who never seemed to be able to die (Naraku), all of those underlings, and last but not least wolfboy Kouga.
I wonder how it’ll end….. *hm…* if I find out I’ll let ya know.

For other updates, vol 1 of Saiunkoku Monogatari season 1 [Or "The Story of Saiunkoku" season 1, vol 1] arrived yesterday to my “home office”, and I have approved it. Vol. 2 will arrive shortly as well, but as for volume 3… i don;t know when/if I’ll be able to get that, if the rumors that Geneon has declared bankruptcy are true. T-T Either way, it’s a good story to delve into so you should check it out anyway.
The top 5 bestselling manga in America currently are as Follows:
-Naruto vol 28 & Naruto vol 29 top the chart
-Kingdom Hearts II vol 2 follows in third
-Absolute Boyfriend vol 6 takes fourth
-Vampire Knight vol 4 takes 5th. (which, by the way, reminds me that the anime seems to be doing pretty well too).
Now then, I’ll post an amv or two for you and get back to work (meh, work T-T). Enjoy! Oh, and don’t forget to check out the links section on my page; I’ve added a few more like animecrunch and kumby, which are two of my personal 3 fav sites to watch anime!!
(Saiunkoku Monogatari season 1 opening)
(vampire knight opening)
(naruto shippuden opening 3)
(Inuyasha Fukai Mori ending)

I would love to see this series, especially since I think the original Naruto series is so great. Only thing is, I’m not into subtitles (except when watching yaoi), so I’ll just have to wait until they dub it. Hopefully I won’t have to wait longer than six months.
